Description
From 1939 to 1945, air power was the only way of striking back at Nazi Germany and so, thousands of young men in bomber crews (all volunteers, average age 22) fought and died in the skies above occupied Europe. The story of the RAF Bomber Command is one of endurance, teamwork and exceptional heroism, but it is also a story dogged by controversy.
