Description
When Dainty Prescott, privileged socialite, last year's debutante, broadcast journalist for WBFD-TV, and owner of the Debutante Detective Agency accepts and squanders a retainer from oil baron, Avery Marshall, she becomes obligated to groom his socially awkward step-daughter, Dawn, for the upcoming, über-exclusive Rubanbleu ball. But during a weekend getaway at a spa resort, Dainty, her sister Teensy, friends Venice and Salem, and Dawn witness multiple execution-style murders of the lodge owners and their staff, and the socialites return to Fort Worth, unable to shake the killers.
