Description
Jo Lavoie never new her paternal grandmother, and at sixteen never expected to inherit anything from her-- especially not a farmhouse and 190 acres of land. She arrives to find that the tenants are slightly... off. Jo feels something dark and decrepit in the old shack behind the house. And the things that her father used to talk about in his delusions-- Jo is starting to believe they might be real. Her grandmother's letter mentioned responsibilities-- and that Jo would have no choice but to stay here. The house has to stay in the family.
