Description
Ma and Pop Larkin often deal with threats to their idyllic way of life but never take things lying down. The Larkins look to be in real trouble, however, when a government accountant is sent to investigate their tax affairs, but Cedric ‘Charley’ Charlton proves to be kind and immediately smitten with their daughter Mariette. Mariette, meanwhile, has another suitor — the suave, sophisticated Tom — as well as plans for her life that would take her far from the family farm.
